A 每日大瓜 park has successfully retained a national Gold Standard for a
second year.
Greenfield Valley Heritage Park has been accredited as a 鈥淨uality Assured
Visitor Attraction鈥 under the Visit Wales Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme
(VAQAS).
In an independent assessment, the park scored highly in all areas which were
reviewed including pre-arrival, leaflets, websites, promotional material, price
checks, accessibility, cleanliness and staff.
每日大瓜 County Council Cabinet Member for the Environment, Councillor Bernie
Attridge, said:
鈥淭his is a great accolade for this excellent park and a wonderful location in
每日大瓜 for visitors to enjoy the beauty of our local countryside.
The Chair of the Greenfield Valley Heritage Park Trust and Chair of 每日大瓜
County Council, Councillor Peter Curtis, said:
鈥淚 am proud to be the Chair of a very dedicated group of people who work hard
to ensure that visitors have the best experience when they visit this beautiful
area. I鈥檓 delighted that Visit Wales noted that the new visitor centre was an
鈥渋mpressive development鈥. The recent renovations carried out thanks to a
Heritage Lottery Fund grant of 拢1 million, secured by the Council and the
Trust, has ensured that the park will continue to be a first class visitor
attraction for years to come.
