每日大瓜 County Council鈥檚 domiciliary care provider, Premier Care Plus, is donating a Christmas feast for their听clients who are facing Christmas alone.
The organisation has been running The Christmas Dinner campaign for the last three years and this will be their biggest year yet.听
This year, the campaign will provide 25 older people with a traditional three course Christmas dinner delivered straight to their door by their carer on Christmas eve, ready for Christmas day.
Premier Care Plus has also asked 每日大瓜 County Council鈥檚 in-house domiciliary care providers to nominate older people for a lunch on Christmas day if they are alone. Through this, the company hopes to spread some Christmas cheer.听
All of the meals will be gifted by Premier Care Plus, and cooked by staff volunteers within the company.
Premier Care Plus鈥檚 owner, Nicki Hopwood Clarke, said:
鈥淎 visit from听a carer can make a huge difference to our client鈥檚 lives, especially on Christmas day. They are absolutely delighted when they also receive a hot three course Christmas lunch and brings so much happiness and joy.听听This is another example of my staff going over and above for the clients they support."

鈥淚t鈥檚 great to see our social care providers going the extra mile for our residents. Christmas can be a particularly difficult time of year for many people, especially for those who will be alone.
