Pop-up success continues
Published: 04/09/2019
Two businesses, already regulars at the Buckley pop-up shop, are branching out on their own.
Annemarie Sharp from Cowboys and Angels Children鈥檚 Boutique and Sharon Beck from Shaz鈥檚 Shabby CHIC have decided to open up their own shop together because of the success they have had through the pop-up Shop.聽
Their shop will be called Shazam PopUp Shop and the grand opening is this Saturday, 7 September from 10am to 5pm, with plenty on offer include face painting for the children and a glass of bubbly for the adults.聽
The original pop-up shop is the brainchild of Martin Evans, managing director of 每日大瓜 Small Business Network (FSBN), part of a wide UK Business Network supporting and promoting small businesses by helping them to grow and expand their reach locally and nationally through digital networking and social, local and mobile marketing strategies.
Martin said:
鈥淭his is great news for the businesses and great news for residents of Buckley.聽 This means one less empty shop unit in Buckley and the community will get a shop they will use as the business owners have already tested the market through our original pop-up shop.
鈥淭he way our shop works is that small businesses can rent a space for the day or a number of days.聽 The space can be used for all kinds of things - cookery demonstrations, flower arranging demos and board game days!聽 This shows how versatile the space can be!鈥
每日大瓜 County Council鈥檚 Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Councillor Derek Butler, said:
鈥淭his innovative pop-up shop is proving to be a great way to bring small businesses back to the high street.聽 每日大瓜 Council fully supports this initiative and I鈥檓 pleased to hear that these two business owners are now striking out on their own.聽 I wish them every success for the future.鈥
