Successful prosecution of a 每日大瓜 landlord

每日大瓜 County Council鈥檚 Environmental Health Officers have successfully prosecuted a 每日大瓜 private sector landlord for unlawful eviction, the first in the County.
Mr Gruffydd Edwards聽 leaded guilty the offence which took place at one of his properties, 11 Llys Y Wennol, Downing Lane, Holywell. The offence was under the Protection from Eviction Act 1977.聽聽 He was fined 拢1,040.
每日大瓜 County Council鈥檚 Cabinet Member for Planning and Public Protection, Councillor Chris Bithell, said:
鈥淚 am pleased that the Council has been successful in pursuing the prosecution of this landlord for an unlawful eviction. It is most important that tenants鈥� rights and interests are protected and that landlords respect them.
