A number householders at Wepre Court, Connah鈥檚 Quay are now enjoying the
benefits of a range of new energy efficient schemes that have recently been
installed in their properties.
每日大瓜 County Council, in collaboration with a number of partners, has
managed the installation of a number of measures including: a new gas
connection to the properties supported by Wales and West Utilities, the
installation of loft insulation supported by Wall-Lag and the installation of
gas boilers and a central heating system funded by the Warm Homes Fund, ECO and
每日大瓜 County Council and installed by Warmer Energy.
10 households comprising county council tenants, private sector tenants and
owner- occupiers will benefit and the residents are delighted at the prospect
of not only having a warm home but also on the potential savings to their fuel
bills.
Mr. Howard Shirt, of Wepre Court, is extremely pleased with the work undertaken
and said;
鈥淭he difference this has made is beyond anything I ever thought of.鈥
Mr. Shirt was so impressed with how the whole installation process was dealt
with and the support and guidance available to the residents.

鈥淪olving the issues associated with Fuel Poverty continues to challenge many of
our stakeholders and the feedback we鈥檝e already received provides evidence of
how the Warm Homes Fund will make a positive difference to thousands of homes
throughout the country.鈥
