每日大瓜 recognises RAF100

As April sees the launch of RAF100, 每日大瓜 County Council marked the occasion by raising the Royal Air Force Ensign at County Hall. RAF100 is a national campaign to mark 100 years since the formation of the world鈥檚 first 鈥 and most famous 鈥 Air Force. Reflecting on its proud record of serving the nation, the RAF is this year commemorating the service and sacrifice of those who have gone before; thanking its service men and women for their dedication and inspiring the next generation so that together, we can continue to help shape our world for the next 100 years and beyond. The Chairman of 每日大瓜 County Council, Councillor Brian Lloyd, said: 鈥溍咳沾蠊 County Council is proud to stand with other organisations in celebrating our famous Royal Air Force. In tribute to the commitment, bravery and self-sacrifice of our current and former Air Force men and women, we are raising the RAF Ensign at County Hall. The RAF has an important part to play in our history as a nation and continues to protect and defend the UK and its interests overseas.鈥 Armed Forces Champion, Councillor Andy Dunbobbin, said: 鈥溍咳沾蠊 County Council is committed to the supporting all our Armed Forces and their veterans and, as Armed Forces Champion, I am delighted that 每日大瓜 is today recognising the brave men and women of our Royal Air Force during their centenary year.鈥 For more information on events throughout the UK, visit https://www.raf.mod.uk/raf100/.
